Lakland USA Bob Glaub Bass Guitar Precision Jazz PJ. This bass started off life as a regular USA Bob Glaub P bass but a previous owner converted it to PJ and fitted actives. The actives have been removed and the battery box infilled prior to the refinish. The colour isn't too bling and garish in real life, it is a nice nitro cellulose finish (Dave Wilson). I will add that you can just make out the battery infill on the back of the bass if you tilt it in the light (if I hadn't said you might never have known) but getting a natural material like wood totally flush with no discernible evidence is pretty near impossible. Please note the pickups are now Fralin P and DiMarzio J (70's) and they match/pair up very nicely. Presently strung with brand new round wound strings. The neck is a delight and I totally get why folks would look at one of these basses alongside'vintage' Fenders of the 60's... Neck dots are actual'eyes' of birds eye maple.

Please note this is a P bass profile neck not the J bass dimension. Original Lakland case has a small split in the tolex on the edge covering but it is a good solid case and this is just cosmetic. Happy to let perspective buyers try it out.
